I take a holistic approach to health care, that means mind, body and spirit.

As a journalist with a natural health background, I researched my own conditions. I made choices based on facts, intuition and my individualized needs. The standard protocol of so-called modern medicine to cut, poison and burn is against my beliefs and intelligence.

It has been over ten years since I was faced with invasive stage 3b DCIS

I made a routine of walking, yoga, deep breathing, epsom salt baths, massage therapy, and acupuncture to help with circulation and detoxification. Quality sleep and relaxation is essential too; the body cannot heal in an anxious state.

Research shows the healing benefits of Chiropractic adjustments.  Keeping the spine aligned reduces mental and physical stress, and helps the brain and nervous system communicate to our organs.

A diet free of processed foods and SUGAR, and filled with healthy fat and protein is key.

Life changes are often required. I left an unhealthy relationship with my ex-husband and moved to Florida for increased sunshine and reduced stress.

I believe God gave us all we need in nature. Case in point are the Benefits of Vitamin D

 If I don’t get enough, I take a natural vitamin D supplement.

I said no, repeatedly, to mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, mammography and pharmaceutical drugs.

Instead, I chose remedies recommended by respected doctors and brave journalists who researched cures not acknowledged by modern medical systems. Many are now revealed in The Truth about Cancer documentary series.

Research clearly shows that both Cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) prevent cancer cells from spreading and stop blood supply to tumors.

I can attest to the side benefits too, which include relief from the anxiety of the diagnosis.

Cancer killers I used topically include frankincense and myrrh essential oils, which have curative properties and ease the emotional aspects of any disease. I also used a THC topical gel for nerve and muscle pain and healing.

  2. Hi Helen. I did not share my specific regimen because it changes a lot and I believe each body is different. I use applied kinesiology (muscle testing) each day. Some supplements stay the same every day, some depend on what I eat, my stress level, whether I have had sunlight, etc.

  10. I do not see green tea on your list… what has your research shown about tea? I too chose the alternative route, and so far have great success with it… Prayers being sent to you…positive attitude is so instrumental, and it certainly sounds like you have a great attitude!
